IMO, its probably a blessing he didn't stay at MU. I recall Mbakwe having "yellow flags" about him as far back as his recruitment.

Mbakwe avoids jail time and it looks like he will be playing for the Gophers this year.

Hope for his sake he stays on the straight and narrow going forward.
