Tough break for Badgers. I'll assume he will be back for our game

Trying to figure out what would cause that kind of injury in practice?

Nevermind. Here's the answer.

Hard nose player. Hate to see injuries to anyone, even if it is a rival.

I'd recommend he take it slow coming back so as not to risk the season, like start back December 9th.

Wonder if EricTheeRed will write about the Safety Of Basketball Standards in his next blog?

He only averaged 5+ points a game last year?? If asked I would have said in the 10-12 neighborhood. And yes, those Badgers are extremely hustle-y and of course "well coached".

Don't forget "fundamentally sound."

Crazy, painful-sounding injury. I hope he recovers well.

Isn't 5+ points for the Badgers about 12 for everyone else?

Surgery and 100 stitches? Holy crap that must have been one heck of a cut. Too bad, seems like a really good kid.
