Alabama Secondary Violations....

Yesterday Alabama reported themselves to the NCAA (http://espn.go.com/college-sports/story/_/id/8269962/alabama-crimson-tide-report-27-secondary-rules-violations) for 27 secondary recruiting violations, 6 of which were in basketball. I bring this up to point out a key line in the article as it should shed some light on what MU is looking at.....

"Secondary violations do not typically result in penalties from the NCAA. Corrective action is usually taken and typically includes rules education and a letter of admonishment."

Yep - 27 secondary violations and nothing is expected to come of it because they are secondary.

The only reason this was reported was likely because there were 27.

One thing to point out: Alabama (in this case) may say they were secondary violations, but it isn't until the NCAA reviews them and classifies them that they are truly classified as 'secondary'.
