267NBA World Champion and former Marquette University star Dwyane Wade will host a special signing of his new book, A Father First: How My Life Became Bigger Than Basketball, on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at the Al McGuire Center.
Tickets to the event, which will run from 1-3 p.m. CT, will go on sale on August 8 and may be purchased by clicking here (http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/265285). There is a limit of 500 tickets available, which does include the book (it will be held at the event for the customer). Only copies of the book will be autographed during this session, no other memorabilia items.
In A FATHER FIRST: How My Life Became Bigger than Basketball, Dwyane Wade, a current co-captain for the Miami HEAT and eight-time NBA All-Star, shares insights on his life both on and off the court with a large focus on fatherhood, a topic of deep personal significance. Wade reveals his thoughts on fatherhood, detailing his personal experiences as a parent, and tracing his transformation from being the child of a single parent to now serving as one himself.
