I almost shed a tear when I read this yesterday! I hear they are carefully deconstructing room 813 and reconstructing it on campus somewhere - similar as to what they did with St. Joan of Arc Chapel. Should be a big draw and a big revenue maker for MU.

I'm glad our $80 per head was reinvested to fix the damage inflicted on the 8th floor (mostly to the TV room) after the completion of the '77 UNC game and before many of us headed to the Lake and then the airport to meet the team. Not sure if they caught the guys ripping the parking meters off their base in front of the Gym Bar and slamming to the ground in a pathetic attempt to garner change for a measly beer or a game of pool. Total losers.
