Bucks agree to terms with Ersan Ilyasova

It appears the Bucks will use the mid-level exception on Ilyasova. The Bucks have no cap space, so this is about as exciting as it gets (barring trades). What happens with Parker will be the most interesting development to watch.

I'm still thinking there will be something involving Parker, most likely a sign and trade. Just need the right partner.

Does Bledsoe stay? Seems the Bucks have had interest in moving him as well.

I have been an advocate for trading Bledsoe. He is not a bad player, a good defensive player, I just don't think he is a good fit with Giannis on the offensive end. I also thought Rozier outplayed him in the playoffs. With his expiring deal, you might be able to trade him to a rebuilding team (that has a valuable player or two) looking to clear cap space.

There is a chance with the market drying up that Parker takes his qualifying offer just so he can be a free agent next year. I think if the Bucks could have it their way they would move Parker in a s&t, and Bledsoe straight up... with that said, I don’t know that there are many takers. The Bucks need to start eyeing 2019 & 2020 with an aim at having some cap space to get someone to pair with Giannis.

Here's a long shot, but Jimmy Butler is reportedly unhappy in Minnesota. He has a player option after the upcoming season. The Bucks would have to clear significant cap space by next summer. Butler would have to take less than the maximum. It is also rumored that he wants to play with Kyrie Irving. Butler, Middleton and Giannis at the 2,3,4 positions would be a nice combination. All three would be under 30 next summer (Butler-29, Middleton-27, Giannis-24).

I've thought about the Butler to the Bucks scenario. Go to the East so path would be easier.
Salary cap increases, and depending on a few moves, some salaries like Bledsoe fall off the books.

Teams don't have much to spend right now. I wonder if that means that Parker will come back for a one or two year deal with the Bucks on a much reduced rate than he thought.
