This year's draft is supposedly deeper than 2019. Not nearly as many talented bigs on the radar for 2019. Spellman may want to return to Nova, improve his draft stock the same way Hart, Bridges and Brunson have done.
The Bucks won't have a shot at Bridges, but I wouldn't mind DiVincenzo or Brunson at 17.

A draft prospect that would unseat Giannis for best name on the team:
"You can safely assume the Bucks will renew their search for quality 3-point shooters this summer via the draft, free agency or trade. In fact, the Bucks already have shown interest in Abudushalamu Abudurexiti, a sharp-shooting 6-foot-9 small forward from China. Abudurexiti has been flying under the radar and isn’t likely to appear on any mock drafts. But several NBA teams are well aware of him, including the Bucks. They, along with a handful of teams, recently observed Abudurexiti working out in Phoenix."

Top 100 Draft Prospects - Post Early-Entry Deadline. Khyri Thomas seems low at 33, but there are always some surprises on draft night with teams having different needs and differing views on how to build their roster.

An interesting interview with Mo Wagner. He is consistently projected as a 2nd round pick. I think he would be a steal in the 2nd round. I wonder how he would be viewed if he was a European prospect. Size (6'11"), ability to shoot the three (39% last season) and a good passer out of the post. Defense and ball-handling need some work.

NBADraft.Net, The Ringer and SI with updated mock drafts this week. Some interesting Bucks picks....Omari Spellman, Melvin Frazier and Zhaire Smith. Spellman's height/wingspan combo of 6'9.25"/7'2" coupled with his shooting ability is intriguing. I also thought he displayed better defense in the NCAA tournament compared to the regular season.

This draft has DDV going to the Clippers at #12 (the guy I want the Bucks to get), but it has Huerter going to the Bucks at #17. If DDV goes that high, I'd be happy with Huerter.
I think both of those guys have the skill set (3 and D) that the Bucks need.

When the process started, DiVincenzo was trying to determine if he could be a first round pick. It would be quite impressive if he ends up as a lottery pick. Here is a good aggregate mock draft from Hoops Hype. Starting to get an idea of the range each player could be selected in (yet there are always surprises).

A 6'3" PG that can really shoot, some think he could be the top PG in the draft.
"Elie Okobo is another player gaining momentum and will meet with five teams that have first-round picks in the upcoming draft. Last month, he scored 44 points while shooting 8-for-11 from three-point range for his team. While he ranked No. 30 in the first version and No. 23 in the second version, Okobo has now cracked the Top 20."

A few mock drafts updated today. PG Jerome Robinson (Boston College) is a new name tied to the Bucks. 6'5" with a 6'7.25" wingspan. He shot 41% from beyond the arc on 198 attempts. If the Bucks stay at 17, there should be several PG/Wing players available that can shoot, defend and have decent size: Jerome Robinson, Jalen Brunson, Aaron Holiday, Elie Okobo, Donte DiVincenzo, Kevin Huerter, Khyri Thomas, Chandler Hutchison.
As for the 4/5 position, I like Mo Wagner (6'11", 7'0" wingspan) and Omari Spellman (6'9.25", 7'2" wingspan) given the style of play in the NBA today. I hope the Bucks pass on high school phenom Mitchell Robinson and Robert Williams (Texas A&M), if available. Both are athletic specimens with questionable/unproven skills. Both are projected to come off the board before Wagner and Spellman.

I did not get to watch Jerome Robinson play last season. Intriguing highlight reel that appears to show a player with a strong handle and quick release. He can come off screens, spot-up or play PG.

Sweet jumper - never even heard of him - BC has been off my radar for so long with their ACC ineptitude.

Same here. Kind of like fans of ACC teams tuning in to watch a DePaul game (not happening). I guess Jerome Robinson lead the ACC in scoring and was runner-up for POY behind Marvin Bagley. Still had a year of eligibility left.
NBATV did their mock draft last night. Had a 5-man panel making the selections: David Giffin (former Cavs GM), Stu Jackson (was giving shout-outs to the Big East), David Aldridge, Andy Katz and Sekou Smith. A fairly connected group to NBA scouts, executives, etc. They also had Jerome Robinson going to the Bucks at #17. One surprise, Mo Wagner going at #21. They also think Lonnie Walker could be this year's Donovan Mitchell.
