IWB said the trainer is checking out Markus after a charge, having trouble breathing and sore back. He's checking back in.

Some brutal offense from both teams in the first half. If it’s not a missed shot it’s a TO

Who are the announcers? I was about 5 minutes late - was thinking it was a 7:00 PM start.
Officials: Kipp Kissinger, Jim Schipper, Matt Morales
Announcers: Mitch Holthus (play by play) and Mark Adams (analyst)
Looking at Markus up close, he still isn't right. He is still hurting pretty good.
At the 3:00 point mark in 3rd quarter Hauser and Rowsey are a combined 2-11.
Hauser 2 pts (1-3) (0-2 3pt)
Rowsey 3 pts (1-8) 1-3 3pt)
Thank goodness Markus is on fire, despite being banged up Markus has 20.
Harvard called for their 5th(?) offensive foul.

The AL looks great on TV especially with the full house.
Damn - every time I start to post it kicks me back out. Hearing same from other media people - Wireless access here is always spotty at best.

Never heard of or heard them before. A little different, but not bad I guess - certainly energetic.
MU losing rebound battle 29-23, Harvard with 10 offensive rebounds.
Odd deal, at the Bradley Center MU is always giving everyone in the media the updated stat sheets. Tonight - only giving to "people with headsets on".

How many cross court passes have been intercepted this year - geez.

Rowsey and Cain are so loose with the ball tonight. Way too many unforced turnovers

Put these guys away already for cripes sake.
Smart timeout by Wojo - MU still in control, but too many missteps.

Their perimeter D causing problems.

Something you teach grade school kids, shouldn't have to worry about it at this level, but I guess they all seem to think they can still make it.
Wonder if playing in The AL is a problem, they usually have a giant open facility in all of the Big East facilities, a much different look here, at least from court level.
Cain has left the court now, looking at right leg - slight limp.
Just looking at the lane, it sure doesn't look 2 feet wider than the usual lane. I thought it might cause an issue with guys getting stuck for three in the lane, but I haven't really seen a ref even count yet. I don't think they are paying attention to it.
Cain still not back out of the trainers room yet, and now Elliott goes down.

We better get a grad transfer point guard next year because Markus is not a point guard. Unbelievable how bad he’s handling pressure

Good gosh guys. Please, there has to a PG out there for next year. Pathetic.
Of the many things driving me nuts this game is MU's inability to beat the pressure after a Harvard made basket. Harvard is very slow to react after a made basket, but we are allowing them to set up their press. Rowsey is there right away, but waits for someone who to come and throw it in. If he would grab the ball right away there are at least two guys wide open, but him waiting for the right inbound player allows to Harvard to set up and its killing MU.

We tried to give Harvard this game but they wouldn’t take it.

After Markus took the charge in 2Q, he came out afterwards and went into the tunnel and then the locker room with the trainer. Came back out a few minutes later. I thought for sure he had a concussion as he was hit and then hit the floor pretty hard. Hope he is fine, but he didn’t seem right all game.

PKudos to the MU LAX team for their wild behind the hoop antics. Hilarious and effective.

Guys, Marquette is pretty banged up and things could get ugly against Oregon. Dana Altman has a lot of healthy athletic, long bodies to throw at the Golden Eagles. The Duck are young and many times do not play as a team but that may not matter simply because of the numbers issue. Wojo gambled on a short roster this season. Cheatham's early exit, Morrow sitting out a transfer year, Eke redshirting and waiting for Froling to become eligible. (something is going on there so that short things even more.
I had a front row seat for the Oregon/Rider game. Rider lead until the last five or six minutes and ran out of gas. The Ducks pressed the entire game and got hot from outside in the late going. Rider is a solid deep and well coached team. They lost because of the Oregon depth and athleticism.
I'm just hopeful the Marquette players can get healthy without any major glitches. I think Wojo has ridden this pony about as far as it can go under the circumstances.

I will be surprised if Sam plays anymore. Cain limped off in the 4th quarter and never appeared again on the bench. Greg couldn’t move out on the court his ankle was so bad. Howard was banged up as well.
Altman will see how we handled the press at the end of the game and employ a similar strategy against a possible 7-8 man team of which 3 are freshman and 3 are centers. Not a good combination.

The analyst was up on all things Marquette going back to early Al days. It's funny, on the "other board" in every dam game people bitch about the tv crew doing the game. Now, I was at the game, so I didn't listen to any of the board cast but I know both of their work very well. Mark Adams voice gets to me at times because he shouts too much. He is a supporter for the non-power 5 schools big-time. also, has been working at ESPN for years now. I'm sure the boardcast was more than fine last night.
