Great to see that Mark - I wonder, is his mission done or was he allowed to go to the game? I know he was out in DC area, but limited e-mail and no phone calls.

Great ball movement. I little too much dribbling at times for my taste but much better movement.

Both teams shooting it great.....bad Elliott turnover leads to a Hauser foul......

Mucrisco

If we keep making an effort to make Hauser option #1, we’ll be successful. We have much better ball movement that way.

Outscored 20-3 after being up 10. Sam was on fire, sat him far too long. He comes back and doesn't see the ball.

Brutal decisions. Can’t hold onto the ball. Can’t penetrate. Really a struggle.

For an elite offensive team can someone explain how our offense has COMPLETELY shut off for 5-6 minutes stretches the last few weeks?

They can’t drive to the whole and they rarely, if ever, enter the ball into the post to Heldt or John. Rowsey and Markus are to small and don’t have good enough handle to penetrate and Elliott and Cain don’t have that skill set just yet. Opposing teams just switch on perimeter screens making it tough to get open looks.

As Crisco said, need to get the ball to Sam. And when they do, Sam can't pass up a three to give Cain a shot at a three.

They need to get the ball to Sam more and when they do, Sam needs to shoot.

Nice win MU! Rowsey, hell of a player, he has his flaws but is exciting to watch. I think Sam Hauser, this season, is our MVP. He does a little bit of everything. Good coaching tonight, offensive/defensive substitutions were timely. Glad that Harry contributed, may have never happened if Heldt and John were not in foul trouble. End of regulation defense was atrocious, but I'll take the win.

Speaking of Buzz, did you see him telling his crowd to behave last night during the middle of the game?

I don't think Villanova was off the 1 line after the loss on Saturday.

I think it was during our broadcast yesterday watching the MU game the constant scroll, or maybe it was the ESPN scroll, can't remember, but it listed the four #1 seeds as Virginia, Duke, Michigan State and Xavier.

1 seed / 2 seed, doesn't matter. Duke will somehow end up playing in the state of North Carolina.

Goo - I just want the Big East to get two #1 seeds. But you are right, the f'd up pod system will ensure it. Hell, two years ago Nova should have been playing in the East Region with the Sweet 16 in Philly but no, were shipped out West.

Let's look at this year...

First/Second Rounds

March 15 & 17
Pittsburgh will get Virginia
Wichita will get Kansas
Dallas
Boise

March 16 & 18
Charlotte will get Duke
Detroit will get Michigan State
Nashville
San Diego

Unless a pod needs them, Villanova & Xavier will be shopped out to Boise or San Diego.

ESPN has Xavier & Nova in Pitt as 1 seeds.

Let me guess - one of those #1 seeds in PITTSBURGH, PA will be from the WEST Region. Another reason why I hate the pod system. No single region should have two #1 seeds.

Duke fans are some of the worst. Arrogant, yet know nothing about basketball. Will surround the court three deep in pre game warmups just to take pictures. The only thing you can do is what me and another poster here did. Find the biggest crowd of them, walk into the middle of the pack and drop ass.

If you have had barbecue and beans for the prior two days, these things could happen--unintentionally, of course.
