Most of the old-timers like me will remember him and his voice. I'm surprised that there was no mention of him being on the FF announcing tandem in the early '70's IIRC, teaming up with Curt Gowdy unless I am misremembering. Forgot about his son playing at ND as well - time flies.
Never heard of the Father Hesburgh story before - good for him. In any event, an interesting post playing career - didn't know about the Dodgers gig.
