MU down one w/8 minutes to go. Purple & Black (K-State) started 2nd half w/ an 11- 2 run but MU coming back.

On ESPN. DG leading the way for MU.

I am. Damn, I miss the toughness we once had. That is nowhere to be found on our current roster. Love watching these guys. Up 6 with 4 minutes to go. I want tOSU!

Up 8 w/ 20 plus seconds left.

Juan maybe with the best defensive play in the game with that chase down block.

When you are in the final 8 they are all tough match ups.

True, but OSU has a very good group.

I think they can play better. A lot of guard firepower that was a bit quiet today.

Gotta give Juan props for a great defensive 2nd half.

Whats both scary and good is that I feel this team hasn't put its best game together yet. Loads of firepower at the guard positions, but thin inside, and struggle to rebound. Sullinger will test Davante. Excited to see if they can make a run at this thing.

Ouch, that 10-0 run hurt.

Guys are looking gassed at half-time. Too much one on one play as well. OSU group more physical as well.

Physicality definitely hurting us. Love to see them add Luke in the future as a big that can block shots and absorb contact. Trend helps but he's just so thin.

Well, it was fun while it lasted. Just out-physicaled with too much dribbling and one on one play after that OSU run in the first half.

Same end as last year, overwhelmed in the post. Only difference was the team name. Interesting to see the guys that are out there and the final results. We used to lament our lack of size. One dimensional bigs like Burke, Otule, and Gardner were starting for us and relied on for big minutes despite their shortcomings. We had good teams, but there was always a divide between us and the elite. Feel that hasn't really changed with this era of players. Great guards, just not balanced enough to get over that last hump.

Yep, was thinking that during the game as well. Hopefully we are entering a new era with the guys coming in this season.

I'm hoping the same. Seems like with Eke, John, Froling, and Heldt, there's at least depth in the post that we really haven't seen. The last time we expected to have this kind of size was in 2014 before McKay transferred. And with Morrow and possibly Joey on the horizon, we're close to having the kind of length that is very tough for teams to deal with.

Though for the TBT team, that won't pay off for 5+ years ;)
