MU holds on to beat Providence 10-9 on the Friars home field despite losing 19-4 in faceoffs. NCAA bound. Congrats to Joe "the Miracle Worker" Amplo and this years' team.

Great game. Started slow, but really turned it on in the 2nd quarter. Was a scary last 3 minutes as they let Providence back in, but pulled it out in the end. Congrats to Joe and the team. After losing so many seniors from last year's team, a great way to show the program is really strong to make it back to the NCAA tourney!

Yes, they did and probably will again after this season is over. I think that Denver is going to request that the BE not schedule MU-Denver games on consecutive weeks. It hasn't worked out well for the Pioneers.

What is incredible is the number of upsets in conference tournaments there have been in LAX the past two years. Nobody is safely in the NCAA's until they win their conference tournament.

I will say that we had a really tough schedule this season that clearly built character at BET time.
