Everyone gets four votes. Vote for us, we'll vote for you?

I realize it's not exactly an equitable trade, but with all these teams involved we can all use more votes.

Novak should play for them this year...his shooting ability would be huge in a tournament like this. I think it's safe to say his NBA career is likely over at this point. He had a nice, long run though and made some pretty good coin.

Attended the games in Chicago last year. Was a fun event, Dwight B really put on a show. The current players were there rooting on the alums, hopefully they'll be in again.
I don't know about Novak, isn't this more like street ball?
Watching the last two games last year, what they really need is Ooze - a big that can run the floor.
Ooze is still having a hell of a career overseas, won another title this year.

What about Luke and Katin and JJ. Don't think they will be hindered by NBA contracts and overseas play would not be until later.

It's more organized than street by a lot, yeah you get some hero ball at times from a guy or two, but they do play D, have referees, etc.....it's pretty competitive.

I think having Novak on the floor would open up driving lanes for Buycks, DJ-O, Jerel from the guard spots.
Would also like to see Jamil and Vander join the roster. Need Jamil's length on defense. Last year's team got pummeled on the glass. Maybe Ooze would help.

Tried to vote but couldn't navigate the stupid-ass process. It kept saying my e-mail address was invalid. I set up a new password, and I still couldn't vote. Frickin pain the arse.
Funny, the leading fan vote getter is the one from Paint Touches that has done quite a few harsh MU stories in the past and did the most recent one ripping Buzz, his salary, contracts etc.

Man, facially Wes and D Wade are looking more and more like each other. Something about the NBA that is puffing out their cheeks, ha.

Anyone know who else is definitely on the team besides those mentioned in the article (Jerel, DJ-O, Buycks, Davante, and Trend)?
Last year's team eventually lost because they had trouble on the defensive glass and did not have much of a low-post game on offense. So far, it doesn't seem like that has changed.
Mo was on the team last year, and Jamil, and Trent, if memory serves. Jamil, at least, provided some length. Burke also played last year if memory serves.
Would love to see Vander on the roster, event though we are already strong at guard. After all, wasn't he the D-League's MVP?
Maurice Acker
Juan Anderson
Trend Blackledge
Dwight Burke
Dwight Buycks
Davante Gardner
Darius Johnson-Odom
Trent Lockett
Jerel McNeal
Fitz is the GM
Novak is a Booster
Wesley is the coach

Thanks.
I guess I just don't see that group as being worthy of such a high ranking. No inside threat whatsoever outside of Davante.

But, Murff always said Burke was a real inside threat after that move against empty space in the Katrina exhibition. ;)
I keep saying what the really need is Ooze - a big that can run the floor.

Jim,
Any thoughts on why neither Vander nor Jamil are participating?

Need Jamil Wilson. He was very valuable last summer. What about Luke Fischer to add some more size?

I'm going to guess Luke will pursue NBA rosters this summer. Highly unlikely, but first year out of college he kind of has to take that chance.

Probably right. He should give the NBA dream his full effort and attention, you only live once. I would think Luke could find a roster spot for the NBA summer leagues (Orlando and/or Vegas).
