I know this makes me selfish but I don't like these games continually being added; with more matchups being added it loses the cool/unique effect.

For my sports marketing class at marquette this year we had the VP of Under Armor come in and he gave us a small blirb about trends that will stay with me before I die:

"See it once and it's an idea, twice it's a trend and three times it's over with." I'll call this idea a flash in the pan too...just glad we're striking while the iron's hot.

Ugh. There shouldn't be more than one of these per year. Especially having it the same night. What's the point?

It's still a tribute to the veterans. We can cry all we want about it not being special for Marquette basketball, but if it gives more exposure to the real heroes of our country, I'm all for it.

If this were simply a neutral site game v. Ohio State, that would be good enough in my book. The ship thing is just an extra IMO.
