If Georgetown loses, they become a sub-100 loss and we lose a top-100 win. For St John's to balance that, they need to win the whole thing. Which would also mean getting past the MU/SHU winner in the semis. There is no positive to St John's winning.

If Gtown had shown as much desire and effort all season as they have the past few minutes, they wouldn't be playing in the 8-9 game.

Georgetown missed about 10 bunnies down the stretch. Ugly quality of play, but entertaining. I do miss Molly McGrath though.

Mullin loved it. Thought after the melee: It is a crime Al McGure could not coach in the BIG EAST Tournament. Can you imagine that circus?

How brilliant was it that Mullin gets in an altercation with Thompson just to get the MSG crowd going (leaned heavily for the Johnnies) for the last 8:35 in the second half?
Shamorie Ponds said that Mullin told his players in the huddle that he didn't even know what happened...he just got mad to get the crowd fired-up! Just brilliant! Coach Al tactic right there.
