The 247 recruiting site has Elliot ranked at #299 on its composite ranking and #295 on its own ranking.

Last time I looked ESPN did not have him in their Top 50 at his position.

In short, he hasn't gotten a lot of love despite a stellar season.

Guess those sites don't put much emphasis on keeping up to date.

So many of those sites go to 3-4 AAU tournaments and that is about it.

There was a player a few years back, can't remember who? Takes his high school team to Hawaii and wins that major tourney. Then goes to Minneapolis and wins the big tourney at the Target Center. Team goes on to win state and he was a stud all the way through. Climbed in the rankings. Then AAU season opened up. There was a big tourney and he missed first two games, played in the third and had a below average game. One service updated their spring rankings that following week, dropped him 25 spots or so. Then the others followed suit. Really? Based on one meaningless game? Whole body of work means nothing to them.

But keep an eye on it, if one service, just one, moves him up? The others will follow suit sight unseen.

When he commits to MSU, he will rise to the top 50 level for sure.
