Should be finalized Monday, per ESPN.

I don't mind the deal, especially if Snell shoots from the perimeter like he has the past two seasons. Just crazy that MCW's value has fallen that much.

I don't think it matters as long as Kidd is the coach who they bring in.

I don't mind the deal either. Both were 2013 first round picks. Add shooting in Snell. MCW was not good enough defensively or as a playmaker to overlook his horrendous shooting. According to ESPN, the Bucks also tried to get Ben McLemore from Sacramento for MCW.

BUCKS ACQUIRE TONY SNELL FROM THE BULLS
Milwaukee trades Michael Carter-Williams to Chicago

Milwaukee Bucks General Manager John Hammond announced today that the team has acquired fourth-year guard Tony Snell from the Chicago Bulls in exchange for fourth-year guard Michael Carter-Williams.

In three games to date during the 2016 preseason, Snell, 24, has averaged 9.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 16.0 minutes. He appeared in 64 games (33 starts) for the Bulls last season and averaged 5.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 20.3 minutes per contest. The 20th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft out of the University of New Mexico, Snell has played in 213 career games (67 starts) for the Bulls, and averaged 5.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.9 assists. In his last two seasons, Snell has shot 37.1 percent (2014-15) and 36.1 percent (2015-16) from the three-point arc.

Carter-Williams, 25, appeared in 54 games (37 starts) for the Bucks last season and averaged 11.5 points, 5.2 assists and 5.1 rebounds in 30.5 minutes per game. Originally drafted by Philadelphia in the 2013 NBA Draft (11th overall) out of Syracuse, he was acquired by Milwaukee in a trade on Feb. 19, 2015, and has appeared in 190 career games with the 76ers and Bucks.

What the Bucks lack is outside shooting, and MCW could not shoot at all making him more than expendable.
To me Snell is just a guy who may be a better fit for this team, but no expectations.

MCW wasn't a fit, but I don't know that Snell will make any difference in the eventual outcome of the season either. With that said it's worth the try because you know MCW doesn't fit.

I agree that MCW doesn't fit with this team, because his style is similar to Giannis. With that said, he is worth more than Tony Snell. I have no expectations for the Bucks as long as Kidd is the coach.

I would imagine the Bucks shopped MCW, I don't know how much worth he has, but under no scenario were we getting much back for him. I'm comfortable with moving on and trying to find a better fit, I don't feel overly confident that Snell is it either, but maybe.

As for Kidd I am not too worried about it, there are very few NBA coaches that really have an impact on a team, its a players league more than anything unless you have one of the truly impactful coaches, and lets be honest, none of them are coming to Milwaukee.
