4 years $38 million. He gets under players' skin, but he can defend.

Lue made the wise choice in not giving him much PT towards the end of the Finals...probably would have awoken Curry.

So to avoid the 3 day match period.....my best guess as to why the Bucks are agreeing to a sign and trade with the Cavs for Delly.....we're sending them cash and Albert Miralles. Why the cash....guessing to buy out the matching period......which of course we all know they won't match...why dig into that 3 million fund and this is just the beginning of the calendar year for the league...strange disposition of an asset.

I just posted something similar. Makes absolutely no sense.

Just seems like there is something else missing, as I can't see why the Bucks would make this move.

This site is reporting the Cavs are sending us cash....makes much more sense when the deal creates a 4.8 million trade exception for the Cavs....a minor asset in trade options for them.....they picked up Dunleavy with one of their exceptions.....

Starting to clear up, original report was wrong, we're getting cash considerations:

Dumb move by the Bucks. They only received $250,000 in cash. They allowed Cleveland to create a 4.8 million dollar trade exception which was enough for them to trade for Dunleavy, who the Bucks also wanted. You don't make progress in this league by helping the competition. This goes down as a headscratcher just like selling the second round pick to Golden State.

Yep, head scratcher, should have at least got basketball assets back for both, even a future 2nd round pick comes in handy in trades. Delly was coming here no matter what, Dunleavy was headed to Cleveland, right into the Varejao exception, which was 9.6 million....Cleveland got smart, and was probably laughing how cheap it was....now they still have that 9.6 million exception to use.....

I guess at the end of the day, we do have 3.25 million dollars in the trade coffer to use through next June.....
