Great pic Trevor!
Odd that he led the team in rebounding all four years but is only 8th on the all time list.

Those were some dark times for MU hoops.

Beat me to the punch Reptile. That said Trevor was a very solid player on some otherwise brutal teams. Then again wouldn't we all be very pleased to have him on next year's team :)

People tend to forget that Trevor was about 6'6", and he was pretty slender. He wasn't particularly quick, and he was not known as much of a leaper, had maybe average hops at best.
But he was long, and he had great instincts and anticipation. Too many fans think you have to be 6'8"/6'9" and built like a quarter-horse, or be 6'7"/6'8" and jump through the roof, to be an effective rebounder.
But that's not true. It wasn't in the 70s, or the 80s, or the 90s, and it's not true now either. Some of MU's best rebounders were "under-sized." David Boone was maybe 6'4", and Robert Byrd was listed at 6'6", but that was probably a stretch. Neither Lazar not Jae were taller than 6'6", and neither was a leaper.
It's nice to have that 6'8"/6'9" 250 pound bruiser or that 6'8" leaper, but look at Josh Hart at Nova, who was neither. But he was one of the best rebounders in the BE.
