#6 seeded Antigo beat #3 Rhinelander 14-11 last night. Antigo lost to them twice this year, and last night decided to play slow down. They held the ball for 7:00+ in the second quarter before missing a couple free throws which lead to a halftime deficit of 5-4.
They did they same thing at the end of the fourth quarter, with the game tied at 11, only to hit a last second three to win. Rhinelander apparently sat in a zone the entire time
I don't know if that's good strategy or not.

I don't know if that's good strategy or not.Obviously not as Rhinelander lost the game.

I haven't watched a high school game in ages. Apparently no shot clock in Wisconsin. Does that vary from state to state? Crap like that game gives a lot of ammunition toward making it mandatory.

No shot clock in Illinois. Have to think all HS games have no shot clock.

There are some states that use the shot clock. I wish we did.
