I can't see any way tomorrow goes well. Reynolds and Farr are interior destroyers, they have talented wings that can slash and shoot, and that 1-3-1 just ripped us up the last time around.

MU -72, Xavier - 87.
And I think I am probably being a bit optimistic. If we keep it under 10, it will be a moral victory, and I don't believe in moral victories.

Then why did you say it would be a moral victory?

Moral victories don't mean very much. Will a moral victory help us get into the NIT? No. (I have given up on the Big Dance this year.) Even if we get a "moral victory" against Xavier, say we lose by 9, so what? Big deal.

When you have a rebuilding team/program, it is fun to play Top 10 teams because you can see where you are in the development of the players. this is a huge test and we can see how the team reacts to it. If it is tight game and we lose by 9, we can likely point to guys improving and that is important.

I'm saying you called it a moral victory, and then said such things don't exist ... Never mind.

Big game for MU as we all know. Just hope they compete and stay in the game for the first 35 minutes so they have a chance. That's all I am looking for.
