Of the 10 teams in the BE, eight have at least one transfer who is making significant contributions (among the top seven in terms of rotation/mpg).

In fact, seven of those eight teams - Butler, Creighton, DePaul, MU, Providence, St. John's, and Xavier - all have a player/players who are either regular starters or among the top five players in terms of mpg.

To be more specific:

Butler: Tyler Lewis - 23.6 mpg (6th on team), 7.0 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 3.7 apg
Jordan Gathers - 15. mpg (7th on team), 4.3 ppg, 1.6 rpg

Creighton: Cole Huff - 20.7 mpg (4th on team), 9.7 ppg, 4.1 rpg
Mo Watson - 30.6 mpg (2nd on team), 14.1 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 6.5 apg

DePaul: Myke Henry - 28.2 mpg (1st on team), 14.0 ppg, 6.0 rpg

MU: Luke Fischer - 28.6 mpg (3rd on team), 12.2 ppg, 6.8 rpg

Providence: Junior Lomoba - 27.4 mpg (4th on team), 6.3 ppg, 2.7 rpg

Seton Hall: Derrick Gordon - 24.7 mpg (6th on team), 8.3 ppg, 3.7 rpg

St. John's: Durand Johnson - 28.8 mpg (2nd on team), 12.1 ppg, 4.3 rpg

Xavier: Remy Abell - 25.4 mpg (3rd on team), 6.2 ppg, 1.5 rpg, 1.9 apg

As far as I can tell, only GTown and Nova do not have any transfers.

My point? The second recruiting season each year (transfers) can be incredibly important to a team's success. Hopefully Rowsey can have a significant impact on next year's team along with Luke, and hopefully, Wojo can land another key transfer this coming spring or summer.

Nova has a real nice transfer sitting out in 2015 A-10 rookie of the year Eric Paschall. Also, Louisville transfer Akoy Agau would likely be in Georgetown's rotation if not for blowing out his knee in the fall.

Thanks for the info. Any other transfers that you know of sitting out this year at other BE schools?

Butler has GW transfer Kethan Savage sitting out, Creighton has K State transfer Marcus Foster (all-conference second team as a freshman), Xavier has Norfolk State transfer RaShid Gaston, Providence has George Mason tranfer Isaiah Jackson, and St. John's has Tennessee transfer Tariq Owens.
