Special Pregame Promotion on Tuesday at the Creighton game.
A special 90-minute, fan-appreciation beverage promotion will be available to Creighton fans at CenturyLink Center Omaha on Tuesday before the Bluejays take on Providence. The promotion, available from 6:15-7:45 p.m., only, includes 12-ounce beers and soft drinks for $1.00 each in the Bud Light Zone area (north end of arena's main concourse).

Creighton as the favorite, interesting.

Creighton's been good so far. Their main problem is their non-con, while less bottom-heavy than ours, didn't have much substance in the wins (beat Rutgers, UMass, and Nebraska, but none are all that good). I could see them winning 10-11 games in conference and being in the NCAA discussion by the end of the year (though they probably need to go 12-6 to be a lock, that seems unlikely).

Creighton up on 19-12 on Providence, 5:10 left in the 1st half. Cold shooting. Must be the $1 beers.

Creighton vs Providence might be the ugliest game in Big East history.

Well it was exciting at the end......but it was ugly for most of the game

Dunn with the game winner at the buzzer, 50-48

Odd that a Creighton game is that low scoring.

Providence shot 29% and Creighton shot 25% from the floor.

You got that right.

Someone has previously said it but nice to have Creighton in the BE - they always pack 'em in and they are loud.

Also always competitive. Their teams last year and this year weren't nearly as good as the Dougie McBuckets teams, but they still put up a fight almost every night. 11 of their 19 losses were by single digits last year (including something like 7-8 that they led in the final 2 minutes during conference play) and this year they are definitely not an easy out.
