Is this correct? Tarik Turner calling the DePaul @ Seton Hall game and then MU @ Georgetown. Looks like it's about a 3 1/2 to 4 hour drive between the two arenas. That's cutting it very close.

The FOX press release I get has Tarik Turner at DePaul @ Seton Hall and Marquette @ Georgetown as TBD, but Marquette says it's Gus and Tarik Turner .

Likely a mistake. Not enough time between games and any problem means he would not make it. I doubt it was scheduled that way.

Going by Marquette, Georgetown and now DePaul, it says Tarik Turner.

I doubt they would have him drive, probably take a small charter flight if anything... Even that though would be close and could end up poorly if there is bad weather or overtime in game 1

Donny Marshall? Raf? Seems odd they have to shuttle Tarik to a second game with such a tight turnaround.

It's Vic Parise working DePaul at Seton Hall.
Donny Marshall will be with Steve Lavin and host Rob Stone in studio.
Bill Raftety is working on CBS on Saturday.
So, it's Gus Johnson and Tarik Turner on Marquette at Georgetown.
Different side note, it's seems like every Big East Women's basketball game is on Fox Sports Go.

Not as concerned about the announcers as I am the refs. Lets hope we don't get Ed Corbett...EVER again.

Ed was the all star of the crew Wednesday night. Breeding and the other guy were horrible. If that'sounds our choice, I'love take Ed every day!

Ed Corbett has now graduated from the Teddy Valentine School for Prima Dona Officials. The other two guys were worse against SH. Based on some of Corbett's exchanges with Wojo, I would say we are far better off without him.

DePaul looks pretty damn good. Anybody who, thought those were going to be 2 easy wins is mistaken.
Whitehead has really matured as a player. Always had the talent but now makes the right play most of the time.

Key is DePaul is 8/14 on 3's so far.
Also rebounding is even.

And they can match Seton Hall physically. Lots of tough shots being made by both sides.....
Seton Hall back to being crappy at the line again after shooting lights out against us.

Epic choke job by the Hall. Fouling 3 point shooter at the buzzer after missing a bunch of free throws.
Got lucky that Garrett missed first free throw.

Breaking News: Struggling to shoot, Butler's Kellen Dunham not starting today.

This why I wish Wojo would have tried a zone when we struggled to keep them out of the paint
25-47 shooting for Seton Hall inside the arc also probably won them the game. Just 4-22 on threes. #shbb

A lot of Seton Hall's points against us was cutters in the middle or Whitehead penetrating and dumping off to a wide open guy. I think a zone would have helped.
DePaul looked good today. Desi Rodriguez was benched for the second half for some reason, and he torched us.
Also, is Myles Davis working on a doctorate? I feel like he's been at Xavier for 8 years.

Xavier doesn't look like it has a Villanova hang over. Up 30-20

Davis is only a Junior! 22 years old already though

Davis went to prep school and then redshirted as a freshman. Same as Jalen Reynolds.
A lot of Marquette fans ignore the age and experience of this Marquette team.

Looks like Willard has learned from the past.....he isn't going to lose control again.

More from Willard
When prompted for an update as to Rodriguez's status for Seton Hall's next game, at Villanova Wednesday night, Willard remained noncommittal.
"I haven't yet decided," he bluntly stated. "No players talk like that, not in this world. So either he'll learn his lesson, or he won't. I don't put up with attitudes."

That's a nice change by Willard. Can't imagine he would have retained control in past years.

As for the MU game, G'town is simply out-working us early on. Henry is playing really bad and lazy

Offense looks a bit better. Defense is unacceptable. Really thought we'd play better on the defensive end tonight.

We are a very soft team right now. I don't know if it's his demeanor or what, but to me Henry seems lazy going after loose balls and on defense.

Great to see a good crowd at Seton Hall and sell-outs at Xavier and Providence. Even, Georgetown had people at its game. Can't wait for Villanova at Creighton tonight with 18,000 and my boy, Tim Brando.

Having their next game at Villanova (a likely loss anyway) is not a bad time to make a statement like that if needed.
