I'd meant to do this a couple weeks back as D-Wade was flirting with the top 50 all-time in points, but finally have a few minutes to do so now. UPDATE: He passed Eddie Johnson and currently sits at #47 all-time in points. 20k is approaching.

If only he could have stayed healthy he could easily be top 25 by now, then also count in the fact that he played alongside Lebron for all those years. I think when you look back he will be vastly underrated statistically.

I agree, it is surprising who is still ahead of him.

Dwyane is 33. Still some gas in the tank. Assuming health (I know this is a big assumption) and similar performance, he's good for another 1000 points this season.

Age isn't what I look at with DW, it is all about health. In theory he should have had several 2000 point seasons in prior years but wasn't able to due to injury, and now going forward its a question if he is going to be able to even play a 60 game season at best. I think DW will end up retiring earlier than most players, no way he makes it to 40. realistically I think he has 3-4 productive seasons left, then he is going to start looking like Kobe out there.

My point was that he's not done yet. I agree-- he won't be playing at age 38 or 39. While he is further down the list than any of us would like, he'll be passing a lot of guys if he plays 3-4 more seasons.

No doubt about it, he can get 4,000 more points I'm sure, and maybe more if he plays longer.
